Polyterpene resins

Polyterpene grades with high-softening point have shown to combine high heat resistance and excellent tack and peel for pressure sensitive adhesives.  These resins offer the highest amount of biorenewable content of Kraton Corporation’s product lines and are compatible with polyolefins and the mid-block of SIS co-polymers.

Manufactured in the U.S.

SYLVARES™ TR A25L
Polyterpene resin is a clear, light-colored, low molecular weight resin. This liquid resin may be used as a tackifier in a broad range of adhesive systems or as a modifying resin with other tackifiers to improve adhesion to hard-to-bond surfaces.

SYLVARES™ M1115
Polyterpene resin is a biorenewable tackifier made from selected terpene monomers. This light color product can be used to tackify natural rubber, synthetic elastomer, and some polyolefin adhesives. It has a narrow molecular weight distribution, which improves compatibility with some adhesive elastomers.

SYLVARES™ TR B115
Polyterpene resin is a biorenewable tackifier made from selected terpene monomers. This product can be used to tackify natural rubber, synthetic elastomer, and some polyolefin adhesives.

SYLVARES™ TR 7115
A thermally stable polyterpene tackifier that provides excellent properties to a variety of natural rubber, synthetic resin (such as ethylene vinyl acetate and polyethylene) and synthetic elastomer based adhesives.

SYLVARES™ TR 7125
A high softening point, thermally stable polyterpene tackifier that provides excellent properties to a variety of natural rubber, synthetic resin (such as ethylene vinyl acetate and polyethylene) and synthetic elastomer based adhesives.
