Kraton® IR Latex

Kraton IR Latex is an ideal substitute for natural rubber latex, particularly in applications with high purity requirements such as medical, healthcare, personal care and food contact. Kraton IR Latex is a unique polyisoprene latex with controlled structure and low chemical impurity levels manufactured through an anionic polymerization process developed by Kraton Polymers. 
 
Kraton IR latex is durable, tear resistant, soft, transparent, and odorless. In addition it is non-allergenic providing a distinct property advantage over natural rubber latex.  Kraton IR Latex is a versatile material offering high tensile strength, low cohesive strength, high elasticity, low hysteresis, and it is ammonia-free.
 
Kraton IR Latex's versatility allows it to be processed on the same equipment as traditional natural rubber latex. The material can be processed through coagulation dipping, straight dipping, heat coagulation dipping and sheeting, foaming, extrusion, spray coating, and roll coating.
