HOUSTON - December 11, 2008 - Kraton Performance Polymers Inc (Kraton), a leading global producer of engineered polymers and styrenic block copolymers (SBCs), announces William (Bill) H. Davis has been appointed as Vice President, Global Paving and Roofing .
David A. Bradley, Chief Operating Officer of Kraton Performance Polymers Inc, gave the following comments: "Today's appointment is vital to the strategic and global success of our business, and we are excited to have Bill in this key leadership role. He brings a wealth of experience and industry knowledge to his new assignment, which will be critical for Kraton as we continue to focus on evolving our value proposition and promoting our visibility in the industry".
Mr. Davis joined Kraton in August of 2005, and most recently served as the company's Regional Business Manager for Paving and Roofing in North America. "The opportunities for bitumen modification continue to grow. Our experienced team throughout the world will continue to pursue innovative product development with our key customers and focus our combined energies on providing unique technological solutions and superior customer service," commented Davis. Mr. Davis will be responsible for innovation growth and commercial operations for the global Paving & Roofing market segments.
